Lighting is important. These pool table lights were a 1000% improvement over the cheap old lights with the green cones because the bulbs inside the cones were all different color temperatures and wattages, making strange ball shadows and variations in apparent cloth color. On top of that, people with a bald head would hit their head on the sharp edge of the cones when they were racking the balls and the lights were so bulky that the staff couldn’t see across the room.

I made lights that are thin and simple so that they virtually disappear amongst the other wooden features, the gold louvres look classy and the light on the tables is even and smooth.

Additionally, I made edge-lit plexiglass number signs for the top of the lights so it’s instantly easy to understand which table is which, helping the staff deliver orders and customers navigate the place.
